Triebel Waffenwerkzeuge supports VDB initiative for new gun laws

Triebel Waffenwerkzeuge GmbH, a leading manufacturer of special tools for the gun industry, has announced its support for the initiative of the Association of German Gunsmiths and Gun Dealers (VDB) to reform German gun legislation.

The initiative calls for a comprehensive revision of the current Weapons Act, including the harmonization of the principle of necessity with the laws of other EU states and the facilitation of imports for dealers and manufacturers.

In addition, the initiative advocates the promotion of young people in shooting sports, the abolition of quantity restrictions for gun owners and the abolition of the prohibition on the purchase of firearms. The aim of these reforms is to modernize firearms legislation while ensuring public safety.
